File size and limits

  • Browser memory limits apply for very large images (multi‑megapixel).
  • Batch limits depend on the tool (for example, image compressor allows multiple files).

Privacy

Many image tools run entirely in your browser — files never leave your device. Browser AI tools may download models to your device once; they still do not upload your images to our server for inference.

Common use cases

  • Use Universal Image Converter whenever you need: Convert up to 20 images at once to another format — JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, AVIF, HEIC, PSD, RAW, and 60+ more.

Troubleshooting

Increase strength/quality settings, or download the result and compare file size — small visual changes can still shrink files a lot.

FAQ

Do you store my files?

No. Files are processed temporarily and automatically deleted. We never permanently store your uploads.

How long are files kept?

Files are deleted after you download the result or after a short timeout (default 30 minutes), whichever comes first.

Which formats are supported?

60+ formats including JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, AVIF, HEIC, ICO, PSD, JPEG 2000, JPEG XL, OpenEXR, DDS, and common camera RAW types (DNG, CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, RAF, ORF, RW2, and more).

Can I convert animated GIF or WebP?

Animated files are converted to a single frame when the output format does not support animation (for example GIF to PNG).

Can I convert multiple images at once?

Yes. Upload up to 20 images, set a different output format for each row, then convert all at once. Multiple results download as a ZIP file.

Are SVG files with scripts allowed?

No. Only SVG and SVGZ uploads are scanned. If they contain scripts, JavaScript links, embedded HTML, or other active content, they are blocked.

Why is this tool server-based?

Many formats (HEIC, RAW, PSD, TIFF, AVIF, etc.) cannot be encoded in the browser. Files are processed securely on the server and auto-deleted after download.
